Overview
DDR is committed to being the first consideration for retailers, investors, partners and employees. In other words, we seek to be prime.
One way that we build and maintain our prime organization is through our Management Training Program. This unique program creates well-rounded shopping center industry professionals by exposing individuals to a variety of departments and opportunities.
Rotational assignments are based on individual career development goals and our business needs. A keen interest in commercial real estate is essential, with a specific decision about career paths coming only after trainees explore a wide range of possibilities.
The program includes rotations in the following departments:

Investor Relations- communicates investment strategy, business plans and operating results to investors and analysts through quarterly earnings conference calls, management presentations, press releases and relationships with financial media. The department acts as a liaison between executive management and investors and analysts, analyzes corporate financial performance, and advises executive management on financial communications strategy, corporate and peer performance.
Individual mentoring by members of senior management is an essential component of the continued success of this program.

Prerequisites:
Our ideal candidate is a college senior who is working towards a four-year college degree, has a career interest in the commercial real estate industry, and possesses excellent communication and analytical skills and outstanding leadership abilities. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Cleveland, Ohio area shortly after graduation.

Accounting Professional Development Program
Overview
Designed to develop accounting professionals to meet the growing needs of the organization, this unique 18-month rotation program exposes individuals to a variety of accounting departments and opportunities to develop well-rounded real estate accounting professionals.
Rotational assignments are based on career development goals and the business needs of DDR.
A keen interest in real estate accounting is essential. The development program includes rotations in the following:

Funds Management- Since its inception, DDR has recognized the importance of private equity capital in creating long-term shareholder value.
The Funds Management Department is responsible for the management, operation and transactional activity of the Company's institutional investment funds and joint ventures.

Audit Services- evaluates the adequacy and application of our company’s operational, administrative and financial control environment. Their mission is to strengthen business performance and promote our company’s success by:
• Reviewing compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
• Assessing the effectiveness of our internal controls
• Improving critical and strategic operational processes
• Providing assurance over DDR's strategic and significant risks
• Identifying and facilitating opportunities for positive change
